Mystery Shopping Seasonality

Hi All--

Question:

Are there "cycles" to mystery shopping? It seemed that the beginning of months is crazy in terms of offers, but then it gets much quieter. Are there two or three months out of the year that are typically busy and then months that are slow?

Cycles in mystery shopping really do vary by the ecomony and the needs of the clients. You will generally find that early in a month tends to be busier, as later in the month, shops that have not been assigned or "emergency" assignments will come up (good opportunity to earn coveted bonused assignments).

Usually around the end of a quarter is also busier due to budgets and reporting needs of clients.

In general, it seems that Summer tends to be slower and the Thanksgiving to New Year's period.
